My personal opinion on whether or not the United States should be involved in other countries decisions and problems is based on financial reasons. In the past, many countries have benefited from the U.S aid and support greatly. However, they benefited in such a way, that it was costing the U.s more and more money. During the Vietnam war, our country agreed to assist the French in overthrowing Ho Chi Minh's government. Much of France's effort to overthrow this government was of course, financed by the United States. In 1950, after North Korea invaded South Korea the secretary of state persuaded Truman to increase the U.S assistance to the french effort in Vietnam By 1954, the U.S. was paying 80 percent of the financial cost of the war against the Viet Minh. Later, the French in Vietnam faced military defeat at Dienbienphu, and the French once again, asked the U.S. to contribute air and naval power. The need for the assistance of the U.S was greatly supported and recognized because of the amount of money contributed during the Vietnam War. I do not feel it is right for our country to get involved in other countries problem when it comes to how much money is being spent and lost to a country who fails in such ways to support themselves, and be dependent on their country for help. That is my personal opinion. Simply because, a war is not meant to include other outside parties, which often leads to more hate and confusion.

Brandon's new friend Barden
Little brandon, a 5 year old boy ran wildly around his front yard. All of a sudden he stopped what he was doing, and ran up to a shiny orange cloth that caught his eye. His eyes grew big with excitement as he began playing with this new toy of his, which happened to be a turban. First he wrapped the turban around his body,as a robe, to feel like he was a mighty powerful king. To his amazement he began flying higher and higher into the sky. As he was soaring through the sky he spotted Barder,an abandoned dog who was lying helplessly in the middle of the road. He quickly unwrapped the turban from his body and fell slowly out of the sky onto Barder's back. Brandon could tell this new friend was in desperate need for help. So once again, he took the turban, wrapped it once around his leg, and once around Barden's. Brandon, determined to find help for Barden, decided to take him to the best vet hospital in town, and have him treated with the best care possible.

Writing in Reverse-Leaving With no Intensions of Turning Back
This story is based on photos based on the Bill Sullivan Turnstile Photography Project.
This is it, she says to herself. I've worked long and hard to try to keep this marriage together, and for what? From making sure his clothes are ironed for work, packing his lunch, and even putting up a front for his parents to make it seem like our marriage is going well. And not once, does this ungrateful, obsessive controller, give me one thanks. She paces back and forth in her living room that's been turned into a office for his workplace, contemplating on how, and if, she's going to leave. Is it worth starting a new life, will he try to find her, where will she go? But if she stays, what's in it for her? Will she ever be able to regain her self-respect and chase after her goals? "I knew i should have listened to my mother", she screams out loud. She grabs her purse from the kitchen counter and rushes out the door.
As she heads for the nearest trolley station, her eyes began to tear up. How did this happen? Where did everything go wrong. She takes out her tight bun placed on top of her head, that he forces her to wear daily and shook her head side to side, leaving her hair sort of out of place and wild. Still no clue of where she was going.
Her eyes grew big as her phone began to ring. It was him, why was he calling? He never calls while he's at work. As she walked out the trolley doors, she repeatedly asked herself," do i answer it"?.... No! No, longer will she be tied down in this dreadful marriage she told herself. She threw her phone in her purse as she exited the trolley. This is it, I'm leaving with no intentions of turning back.
